Bird Solution Process
Step 1:
Evaluation
The Anderson team performs a comprehensive examination of the site to identify the problem birds, their activity patterns and population levels.
The team also conducts an analysis of the building structure, surfaces and materials, along with a study of the surrounding environment and factors such as food sources and traffic around doors, loading docks or other points of entry.
Step 2:
Solution Design
The Anderson team evaluates all of the data gathered in Step 1 and determines a detailed plan of action that will permanently solve the bird problem while preserving the appearance and safety of the site.
Step 3:
Clean-up and Site Preparation
Site clean-up is an important part of a total bird eradication solution. Trained technicians using the latest equipment perform a thorough cleansing of bird roosting and nesting areas to restore a healthy environment.
Step 4:
System Installation
Anderson installs a custom system designed to fit the situational requirements of the job. Possible methods used include:
• Exclusion mesh to close off spaces used by birds. The main advantage to this method is its permanence. Anderson has utilized this method on everything from household dryer vents to shipping and receiving docks as well as major bridges. These installations last for years.
• Roosting deterrents, such as "porcupine wire" or the spring wire system are permanent installations which make it impossible for birds to land on surfaces where you don't want them.
• Electrical strips that emit a powerful yet harmless intermittent shock to train pest birds to stay away from a protected area.
All of these techniques are suitable for just about every pest bird problem. Occasionally, more innovative programs are required. Anderson Bird Solutions can develop customized bird control programs for any size facility or situation. Anderson even combines bird birth control with other methods to control flocks of pigeons in business districts and whole communities.
With more than 90 years of experience, Anderson Bird Solutions knows how to control pest birds.
