Helping the Environment

The Natural Choice®
As a responsible corporate citizen, Anderson Pest Solutions is committed to reducing or eliminating the use of pesticides. Our Natural Choice® Home and Commercial programs are environmentally responsible services that focus on prevention and provide permanent solutions to pest problems.

Anderson has long been a leader in helping the pest management industry move towards a greener future. As a GreenPro Certified company and recipient of EPA Gold status, our efforts have been recognized by Environmental Protection Agency, the Natural Resource Defense Council, and the National Pest Management Association.

Community Involvement

AnderCares
AnderCares is a new program created to select and coordinate employee participation in events that promote health and fitness in the workplace. The AnderCares Team is dedicated to giving back to our communities, supporting 'green' initiatives and creating a healthier environment.

The first AnderCares event was the Chase Challenge 3.5 mile run to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository, held in May, 2011. Twenty-eight AnderCares Team members were among the 23,000 runners who participated in this year's event, sponsored by the JP Morgan Chase Foundation.

AnderCares also supports the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The NIFB supplies food to food pantries and soup kitchens throughout Northern Illinois. The packing of food to be distributed to food pantries and soup kitchens throughout Northern Illinois to help eradicate hunger in the region is a rewarding experience and has become an annual tradition for Anderson employees and the AnderCares Team.

Anderson also participated in "Strike Out Hunger", an annual bowling fundraiser hosted by the NIFB and held at bowling alleys throughout Northern Illinois.

Kids Across America

Anderson is an active supporter of Kids Across America, dedicated to building leaders by encouraging, equipping and empowering urban youth and their mentors through camping and education.

The Anderson Insect Zoo

Kids love bugs - and Anderson Pest Solutions loves kids. So it's only natural that Anderson sends its popular Insect Zoo around the Chicago area to bring cool bugs to kids.

Along with their regular stops at the Kohl Children's Museum in Glenview and the DuPage County Children's Museum in Naperville, Anderson's Tom Dobrinska and Mark Mayer also bring their exotic and fascinating collection of insects to outdoor nature festivals to help kids learn more about the fascinating world of insects.
